Laboratory Centrifuge Success Story

A new pharmaceutical company wanted to complete the design for a laboratory centrifuge and bring a new product to market.

We needed to transfer the partial design from the client’s previous supplier to ATS. Our client needed us to complete the design and build three initial qualification units within 10 weeks.


We successfully completed a review of the current status of the design, determined what the required changes were and developed a material prioritization schedule. Next, we updated the design to meet CE standards and developed a user requirements specification (URS) with our client to outline the specifications.

We met the customer’s material budget, and met and exceeded their quality expectations.


By successfully planning and thoroughly understanding our client’s requirements, we delivered the units on time and on budget. With the success of the qualification units, the client awarded us all production units and another build to print program.
