Typical Sequenced Instrument Panel Build Line

• Receive broadcast of build requirements directly from customer or from internal plant server.
• Print build requirements on demand, in customer defined or FILO sequence.
• Verify wire harness and part selection.
• Confirm & archive air bag torques, serial numbers and electrical connections.
• Assemble & test off-line steering column, brake pedal, multi-function switch pod and sequence to main line.
• Assemble & test off-line cluster and sequence to main line.
• Program & test remote keyless entry module and key fobs.
• Verify heat & vent controller and radio part selection, and archive serial numbers.
• Perform complete final IP/cockpit electrical test, print "Pass" label and release panel for shipment.
• Support off-line upgrade station for reprocessed IP's.
• Verify dunnage loading sequence; generate rack labeling and truck manifest.
• Report component parts usage for automatic inventory relief.
• Generate quality & production management reports.
