Electrical Test Connectors

Every functional test system is only as good as the integrity of its electrical connectors. Without a reliable connection there is no way to determine if the part is defective or if the test system requires maintenance.

ATS Test Systems combines the latest technologies to develop innovative electrical test connectors of the highest integrity, providing durable factory-floor solutions for repetitive manufacturing environments.

From micro-amps to hundreds of amps, fixtured or hand-held, manual or automated eject – we offer a broad range of standard connectors to meet your custom requirements, with deliveries typically of two to three weeks.

We also manufacture custom ultra high-flex wire looms with MIL-spec connections, durable enough for the most demanding production environments.

Urethane Pallet Fixturing

Using the latest tools, materials and techniques, our prototype designers and model makers develop innovative solutions that deliver the high precision, robustness and wear resistance demanded by ATS product testing systems. Off-the-shelf connectors are also available.

We deliver cast urethane fixturing well below the cost of conventional machining. Typical linear tolerances of +/-0.25 mm may be achieved between two parallel surfaces up to 100mm apart. Internal features such as cylindrical holes may be held to +/-0.1mm up to 15mm diameter. The cost benefit point on many designs is quantity four or more parts.

Urethane Seal Manufacturing

ATS Test Systems offers unmatched capability for the most critical of leak and seal applications. Urethane and silicon seals in different sizes, colors, materials, and durometers. Manufactured to tolerances suitable for high accuracy and repeatability of leak and flow testing

We also manufacture urethane plugs for leak testing large open surfaces. These custom plugs reduce the part/fixture test volume, which dramatically reduces test cycle time and improves measurement accuracy.

Urethane Vibration Isolation Fixturing

Our knowledge of noise, vibration and harshness testing enables us to design superior cast urethane vibration isolation platforms and fixturing. Our custom solutions offer a high level of isolation between the device under test and the plant floor.

We carry stock inventory of silastic silicone, urethane, aralidite and PIM. Polyurethane color pastes in black, white, red, blue, yellow and green, as well as various other pigments are also available.
